Ok i have a 94 GT that is pretty much stock with 71k miles on it. The clutch has been pretty stiff from day one but i have gotten used to it. The clutch release is very high on the pedal and i can let the pedal almost all the way out before the clutch starts to release. I saw the post on adjusting your stock quadrant and when i tried to pull the pedal up with my toe it doesn't budge and i pulled with a decent amount of force. This weekend at the track i flatshifted 2nd and it made a god awful noise and didn't go in. Wasn't a grinding was more like an explosion the gears have all been fine since and i made some regular shifting passes since then. I have a few questions..
How stiff should the stock pedal feel?
Could a stretching clutch cable cause my pedal to release higher?
How hard do you have to pull on the pedal to get the self adjusting to work?
