So I have a question. My 03 GT feels like it's got a miss when I get on the gas. It's the original clutch(120k plus) on it and new 555G Nittos 315's on the rear. Just regular driving and it feels fine, but if I punch it I notice it. Starts and idles fine, no CEL, accelerates fine till I get on it.

So the question is can a slipping clutch make it feel like it's missing? I know a new clutch kit is needed based on the miles anyway. I just wanted to make sure if I should check anything else.

a clutch slipping might feel like a miss but I would think the rpms would go up when it slipped

So I read up and saw that misfires don't throw codes. So I threw my scanner on it and it showed PO 316 and PO 301, misfire in cylinder 1. I guess I'll be doing plugs and coils sooner then expected.
