Message: <blockquote data-quote="Paladin1001" data-source="post: 1454991" data-attributes="member: 23701">So it got bad enough that it was not dependable so I pulled the trans out today and I thought I would post what I found in order to help someone out in the future.  The clutch fork had popped off of the pivot bolt and was only being supported by the TOB.  Also the pilot bearing is shot, I don't know if its from this or not but the clutch was in good shape, the pressure plate has some wear on the fingers from the misalignment but its not awful.  The TOB was in good shape too.  I'm putting in the new stuff obviously, since its out but it was not the cable or the pressure plate.  Still had to pull the trans to fix it but now I know for sure the clutch is new.  It was also very oily inside the bellhousing but the rear main is dry. I wonder if it was coming from the flywheel bolts, several of them were very oily when I took them out.  I'll be coating them with thread locker to keep that from happening again.   I bought a new pivot bolt and clutch fork.  the spring on the fork is all jacked up.  I think it was the last one in there also the starter only had two bolts in it and the exhaust has all kinds of jacked up hardware.  I'm going to fix some exhaust leaks while i have it all apart.  see the pics if you are interested.  [ATTACH]2348[/ATTACH] [ATTACH]2349[/ATTACH] [ATTACH]2349[/ATTACH] [ATTACH]2348[/ATTACH] [ATTACH]2349[/ATTACH]</blockquote>
