I got to take it for a short spin to check out the adjustments & see how it feels before leaving it for a thorough tune up. This mechanic is awesome...not fast mind you but very meticulous. He detected a few problems already & will get 'er done! The Fidanza 1.0 ($179 from American Muscle) feels like stock just like I hoped! Maybe just a tich heavier but it is hard for me to compare, my old one was so worn out & slipped so much...anyway it engages super smoothly, no chatter but sure isn't slipping any. LOL...first thing I did was chirp the tires without meaning to, something that was almost impossible before. I could never adjust the old one so that the engagement point was lower, this one lets me adjust it low middle or high! I was kinda worried how it would turn out but couldn't be more pleased on initial impression. I am going to have fun after it's broken in!  Glad I have the Steeda triple hook quadrant, OEM cable & firewall adjuster from MM, it made it easy for him to adjust everything. I also installed the LDC mod from Lethal Perf. a spring & bushing for a positive clutch fork return & no TOB squeal. One thing to watch out for is that the Lakewood clutch fork from AM is listed as good for years 79-04...it's not, just 79-93...I bought it for a heavier duty rating but could not use it...Good 'ol AM Is letting me return it! Kudos AM!!!Slow but sure progress!</blockquote>
