Any recommendations on a new clutch for a '95 gt with the stock t5? My stock clutch is just starting to show signs of its age...

I had a dual friction in my '86 and beat the hell out of it for years without any problems. I would leave the line at 5500rpms without any trouble out of it. I expected it to break the way I drove it but it held up very well I must say. It also had a light pedal feel on the street so stop and go traffic wasn't a pita.
Get a Centerforce clutch.CVictor said:Centerforce is what I prefer
My car had a little more power than yours. I broke the spring that goes around the little fingers on the pressure plate and the clutch plate itself has a crack in it. It was working fine when removed but if I wouldn't have pulled the trans and motor It wouldn't have taken more than one more dump and I might have been missing an ankle. By the way if your planning on a lot of playing at the track and on the street I recomend a blow proof bell housing unless you want to ride around with a handicap tag and an automatic one day.Win said:I just took out my CF DF with a C302 ford pressure plate and it was still holding just fine. I wouldn't hesitate to put it back in. Although with my Alum Flywheel and Driveshaft i am glad i went with the SVE mongoose Clutch cause it has more give then the CF DF Pressure plate.
