You will defiently need the upper and lower as the stock piece and the cobra are nothing alike in that regard. Other than that, I think its just a simple swap in-swap out sort of deal...
Its a straight bolt on part, all you need is the cobra gasket kit, and your factory strut tower brace will not fit around the cobra manifold. Here is a shot of mine, Have fun :happydrunks:
^^ Looks nice. Thing is, isnt it bad to not have the strut brace on? Like isnt that good to have to keep the car from getting frame damage in an accident?
Its not terrible not to have it on, it just will let the chassis flex a little more when cornering. Im getting ready to get a new on that will fit the cobra.
How much of a power gain do you see with the cobra intake upper/lower. I ask because Im doing an exhaust, gears and CAI(mainly for looks) to my car and was looking for another little add on for it.
I also needed a couple small npt plugs because the cobra has three tapped holes in the lower intake where as the gt intake only had one. You might replace the t-stat while your at it as well.
