Man, I did take it out tho for a test ride. And all I can say is wow. The ride quality is a LOT better. And the handling has been improved as well. Its not as squishy when you hit bumps. I haven't given it too much hell yet because its not fully tuned. And your up late javi.

I would not. Bilstein and a good stiff springs is better for handling than cheap shock/coilover.

I don't know which shock you have. You also have a very stiff spring, which might cause wheel hop under full load.

Bilsteins are great shocks, but unless Eibach is an Eibach Racing Spring for the coilovers, I don't even consider it a performance spring. Weak spring rates, and massive drop don't do anything good for mustang handling.

Hey Rep, he's got the coils on the front, and I believe the rear is still stockish.
Koni struts up front.

Thanks for the response Jeff. I didnt know it was you cause you changed your pic. Anyway, he is correct. Its a 300# Front spring with the Koni Struts. the Rear has the Saleen Racecraft springs and stock shocks. What shocks should I use? Would I really see a huge difference?

Don't mix and match stuff. It usually makes things really complicated, and does not work. Match the rear shocks to what you have in the front. As for the spring rate, you will not be able to find an off shelf stock location spring that will give the car a balanced feel. You with either have to go down in spring rate in front, or get coilovers for the back.

For example, I'm running 275# coilover front and H&R Super Race rear (260-280 progressive). 275# coilover is about 1000# of spring in stock location, so I mimicked H&R Super Race. It's all about balance. If you leave your setup as is right now, you will probably understeer.

Maximum Motorsports makes a coilover conversion kit for the rear Koni shock, but it is really expensive. I'm waiting for a better reason to trade up to coilover rear, like getting torque arm.
