Darhawk RichV what's going on these days guys? I graduate in 6 weeks and would like to spend some time around some 'stangs! :-D
May 3/4 I'll be teaching NASA at Pueblo. 3rd is also the RMMR auto-x practice. I'll be at PPIR on April 5/6 for the 1st NASA event. I'd like to get some Parker GTGs going again, if Darhawk and Bones are down. The more the merrier!!!
Yea, we used to have a group come to Sonic in Castle Rock when I lived out there. Tried to make it in Parker, but there was no hang out spot at that Sonic.
There is a no prep track day at pueblo on May 17th and the 18th is the EAS thing at ppir. Show, sound competition, I think drift exhibition and a 1/8 mile drag.
MustangChris there should be a Birthday Cruise coming soon, I'd say around May. Plus the Golden super cruise is always on the first Saturday of the month during May-Oct. I go to those most times.
So I guess there is an event going down at an airport. I believe it is the Co. Springs airport. I believe the main event is a half mile speed competition. But I think it should be a big turnout since they are closing down part of the airport for it.
That would be fun to see, or even do if you have the car for it. Do you have a date for this Ethan? I just did the 1st track event of the year. It was at PPIR, fun to see some cars race. Run the track and see some familiar faces. I'll be at Pueblo PMP in a few weeks, 5/3-4 NASA runs at Pueblo. You guys should come out.
http://gazette.com/new-event-will-bring-auto-racing-to-colorado-springs-airport/article/1517359 Yea that would be fun. I am really trying to get the car done this week, so far the weather isn't cooperating. But I know I am going to go at least spectate May 18th for the ppir event. I think it is the EAS thing.
