I've been trying to get my heat to work for quite some time now. I replaced the thermostat and flushed the radiator. I have a mishimoto performance radiator in my car also. I have no heat, but the car does stay at opperating temperature. I just tried to bleed the cooling system by opening the bleeder screw above the thermostat and nothing came out, infact my car almost overheated!. I also noticed water coming out of my tailpipes when i revved it, i dunno if thats a related issue? The in and out lines to the firewall don't heat up as well...

Could this be my water pump gone bad? Or would it be my heater core?

I'm guessing it's your heater core if you don't have heat. That would be my first guess. If your water pump goes out, I'm pretty sure you'd be overheating all the time. Have you checked the water pump for leaks?

you could try removing both inlet and outlet heater hoses and take a garden hose and shoot into one then the other until it flows clear and if it doesn't flow at all it's deff the heater core.. how much water was coming out the tail pipes and did it smell like coolant?
