AFTER
1 And now the hood looks painted and glossy but its still primer!!I also buffed the lights, and all thats needed is to be sanded a bit and clear coated!

5 I sanded the mirrors but heres the side i haven't done its real ruff and almost felt like velvet any ways heres before..

6 After I wet sanded it also ready for another clear coat!

7 Now tires and rims- whats the best thing to use to get this oxidation look off the rims? Im guessing some type of rim polish and a really good buff job?!?!

did you buff the primer? you know you'll have to completely strip it to get anything to stick to that now if its got any wax on it.

for the wheels polish them out and put a coat of wax on them. if you intend to keep it stored don't take the wax off. There used to be a polish that had a sealant in it but i can't think of the name off hand.

Yea i just waxed the hood for now since it might be a while before shes painted! As for the wheels i tried buffing them with some detailer but im going to need something stronger like some polish i just dont know the best! I got to get new screws for the wheels since they're rusted!

see if you can find a local dealer for green magic. its that stuff they sell at car shows and swap meets that looks like a gimmick, the guy that polishes a coke can type stuff. Its flat out awesome. I'd be a dealer for them if I had time to mess with it i like it that much. Use that on your wheels and you'll be happy. not much you can do about the lugs and washers as the greg weld ones flat out suck, same as the summit ones w/ the offset. I just bought a bunch of them when I found them on sale so I could swap out as needed.

Metal RX on the metal, and use #000 steel wool on the rusted parts.
polish again after using the wool.
maybe get new lugs, and it looks like your studs are a little short? if you can't get 3 turns on the lug, you don't have enough thread there.

this stuff is awesome on metal, goes on/off by hand.

Love this stuff on tires: dries dry, water based, easy to clean up and lasts for months.
