Bought a used gen 1 coyote that had higher mileage and low oil pressure to rebuild. I knew it wasn't going to be pretty since it was an F150 engine and most of them seem to be not taken care of, but this one exceeded my expectations on how bad it truly was. The right bank exhaust can cap were completely split into 2 pieces. Journals are completely toast, and it would need me to buy new caps, get the head line bored, and the purchase of all 4 camshafts. Block and crank actually look to be in good shape though. Who out there has purchased a set of gen 1 or 2 heads, and where did you guys get them from?
