Rear passenger would more then likely be the nipple for the heater lines, not the typical coolant crossover crack

If it was the crossover you would see coolant being sprayed on the front of the motor

If it's cracked just upgrade to Pi Intake and get a nice little performance gain just a thought and yes it will work on your Npi heads I've done it

yeah, i have read that its the crossover that usually cracks. mine is def not the aluminum crossover. its right behind where the throttle spring connects to the tbody. there is a hose that connects to that part of the intake and its def cracked (very small crack). i was able to fill it up with coolant and when it got pressurised its started spitting out the coolant. heres my thought and you all can say if its a bad idea. i'm sorry to say im parting with my stang but i need a truck. could i quick fix this small crack somehow just so i can trade the car in? i will have another stang one day but for now i gotta do what i gotta do.

That is the heater connection I spoke of earlier. Is it the hose itself leaking or the fitting? I have heard of people finding the fitting rotting but were able to reseat the hose enough where it seals as a temp fix

for a temp fix, see if you can get the hose to go over the crack and cover it. if not, then go to an auto parts store, and get some JB weld, or any high temp rated 2-part epoxy. mix it, and slather it on there, it will dry a light grey color, if you really dont want anyone to notice when you trade it, get a 97 cent can of flat black paint, and spray it after it dries.

When my original NPI intake cracked at the T-stat housing, It was my daily driver, so i had to temp fix it as well, until the intake I ordered came in.

I put JB weld on it, and rode it for about a week before I changed the intake. It will work, you just need to give it 24 hours of dry time.
