What is bright white without any blue, but still not OEM looking with any yellowish? Is that 5k or 6k?

i just plan on using single beam. Only time i ever use high w/ projectors is to flash people on.

I thought that HID projectors used a standard bulb for the high beams? I have been considering getting some projectors, are they a different bulb from the standard?

Re: DDM Tuning hid kits..

Im just getting LOW beams. We dont have inspections here in Illinois. Some states require you to have low and hi's so be sure you find out.

Just single lo for me.

Re: DDM Tuning hid kits..

I only used the high beams for blinking people to go at a 4-way stop or something like that. Do the DDM kits with low/hi have that annoying clunking relay too?

Will I be ok with them of am I looking at trouble?

I have smoked headlights, and the oem bulbs arent very bright at all. If youre getting HID's, I'd go with a 5k or 6k, and just make sure you aim the properly. The tinted lens will cut down on your brightness a little bit, and possibly absorb some color making your lights look slightly more blue. Mine did anyway.

The Regular HID's are fine. Just place them where me and chris placed ours. It works fine.

Re: DDM Tuning hid kits..

I ordered just for the hell of it lastnight . Heres the email i received today.

Thank you very much for your recent order. As you may have noticed we are temporarily out of stock of the Raptor 35 watt HID Kits. We received some of the 35 watt kits but only for certain bulb types. Right now we do not have an ETA on when the next shipment will be in. Here are the types of Raptor 35 watt kits we have in stock if you want to modify your order. Also we do have the Raptor 55 watt kits for all the bulbs.

Rap 35 watt H1 in 3k, 6k, 8k
Rap 35 watt H3 in 3k, 4.5k, 5k, 6k, 8k
Rap 35 watt H7 in 3k, 6k, 8k, 10k, 12k
Rap 35 watt H8 in 6k, 8k
Rap 35 watt H9 in 4.5k, 5k, 6k, 8k, 10k, 12k
Rap 35 watt H10 in 3k, 6k, 8k, 10k, 12k
Rap 35 watt H11 in 3k
Rap 35 watt 9005 in 3k, 4.5k, 5k, 6k, 8k, 10k, 12k
Rap 35 watt 9006 in 3k, 4.5k, 5k, 6k, 8k, 10k, 12k
Rap 35 watt 880 in 3k, 6k, 8k
Rap 35 watt D2S in 6k, 8k

So pretty much i think you can order ONLY if you have projector or 1 piece headlights on your SN95 as those dont use 9007 bulbs for the LOW if i remember correctly.
Im going to wait it out 2 or 3 weeks on backorder and see what happens :dontknow: Better than being @ the end of the line when they do get crap back in stock.

Re: DDM Tuning hid kits..

Heres what im experiencing, I got that same email last week, fine whatever. But i see that they have the 880 in 6k which was part of my order, i waited a week to see if they would ship just those but nope. And i have been trying to call them for three days to talk to an actual person, but i have been left on hold for up to 55 minutes. And i still havent talked to someone to tell them to just ship me whats in stock. POOR customer service at best for DDM. end rant

Re: DDM Tuning hid kits..

I am sure if there is a problem down the road they will be just as helpfull...... Lifetime warrenty seems pretty iffy if they do not answer the phone/emails.

I am out then, I have worked with companies like this before. When the price is too good to be true something is skimped on and you end up paying for it in the long run.
