Alright guys. 5.0, no start. Car is getting fuel, car is getting spark, timing hasn't changed since the last time it ran.

What would you think is the reason it isn't running?

Purposefully left out details, I'm trying to get ideas here, helping a friend out. I will say it's a Foxbody EFI motor though, but that shouldn't matter in diagnosing a 5.0 no start problem regardless.

It's actually painfully relevant information. TFI modules go bad on foxbodies like they were designed to do so. However 94-95 cars don't suffer the same fate.

Check for the obvious, spark, and fuel. See which you are missing. And the next time you post, try adding ALL of the information. Regardless of whether or not YOU think its relevant.

what color is the car?

White.

My point is he THINK's he's gone over everything, and I'm trying to find something he's overlooked hence my leaving out info. Hell, I could say it was a camry and it'd probably still be helpful here lol. Just trying to figure out if there's spark and fuel, what other items on ANY car could cause a no start. I have roundabout logic.

To my understanding, doesn't the PIP send pulse signals to the fuel pump? If that's the case and he's getting fuel, I figured that was ruled out. I thought he'd tested the TFI, but maybe not so I'm having him do that next.

The pip tells the computer the engine is turning and to keep the FP on.
This is after the initial 3-5 second prime of the FP once the key is turned to ON.

obviously something has either not been done or was not done right as its not fixed yet. I am not sure why it would help you too let us keep guessing at such a vague description of the problem/what was going on when it happened.... Reminds me of the childs game everyone played where you think of something and then through random guesses in the group they try to figure out what you are thinking of.

but I can play.

Did he put bad gas in it?

Disty gear could have sheared the roll pin and spun on the shaft.
Could have low fuel pressure
Could have weak spark
I could go on and on.
