2003 GT with about 115,000 miles Do not know all of the history, I do know before I got the car in June of 2024 it had sat in a garage for about 2 years. Only about 200 miles was put on it during that time. Need some help with diag on this one (forgive me if some of my terminology is off on this). I was driving down the road last week, and all of a sudden my engine starting sputtering and miss firing. Not sure what was going on, I pulled to the side of the road and cut the engine off. Now she wont start. The starter just keeps cranking and the engine acts like it wants to turn over, but nothing happens. A couple times I was able to get it to start for about half a second and then it dies right away. I no longer hear the priming of the fuel pump when I set the key to on. I checked the power plug at the fuel pump and it has voltage to the pins when unplugged. But again the pump doesn't turn on when plugged back in. This led me to believe the pump is gone, but before I go the the process of dropping the take and putting in a new one, anyone got any suggestion? I came across something about the anti theft system, and I do notice now that the theft light is flashing fast when I open the drivers door. I am currently trying the "leave the key in the on position for 10 min" to see if that works. I will also try the other key. Any other thoughts on what I should do before I start ordering parts and pulling the tank? Thanks
