I was looking at the cheap shorty headers they have on summitracing for like $130 or something like that. Has anyone ever used these? Is there really a big difference from some cheapy shorties like that to like some bbks or some name brand ones. I know quality is one thing but performance wise are they different? :dontknow:

I doubt it. You could go with Brothers Performance "house brand" headers. I paid 100 bucks for mine from www.brothersperformance.com. When they got to me, I opened the box and they had a installation paper from flowtech with em. I think brothers just rebranded a set of flowtechs and dropped the price. they fit nice, and construction seems to be very sturdy

not if its stock.

Cheaper pipes tend to use cheaper metal from what I have seen. Hell you can get a good set and they will still end up flexing so why risk it with a cheap set?

Ok I probably have the one for the shorties since I still have my stock headers.
Thanks
