Is it ok to drive without a dipstick? I just tried checking oil and the whole dipstick came out and was just dangling there, So i was wondering if its safe to drive without 1 for the meantime? Its got longtube's on but im swapping it for stock headers.

Oil will spray out of the dipstick hole in the block like crazy while you drive.. Installing the dipstick isn't that hard.. I use a Fox dipstick
with my longtubes for better clearance.

Where is the hole for the tube? Oil is coming out and turning it into heavy smoke. Can you reach the hole from the top? if not where at?

easiest way is with two people. one under the car to guide the tube into the block... and one above to ram it home.

I've never had any issues installing it from the top though.
