(making them touch?)after reading about the ECT in it's entirety, i am so curious as to why my car doesn't run like sh*t. i remember somewhere saying its about the third most important sensor when it comes to likes of a/f, etc.Gas mileage is expected for a v8, timing's at 12*, the temp sender works fine (temp is in range for the 160 thermo), but the ECT is just left disconnected.i have since ordered a new pigtail to fix...well....what problems I SHOULD have. to this day i still have no CEL whatsoever, and shouldnt this make like 116-118 pop up?can anyone offer me an explaination as to why the car runs fine without this so important sensor functioning?
