Message: <blockquote data-quote="dsg gts" data-source="post: 724191" data-attributes="member: 12862"><p>well the distributor i put in was a good one. no change. co i studied the chilton/haynes again. this time i went after the eec system. i unplugged the purge canister regulator.and then i pulled off the vac line from under my intake and plugged it. crossed my fingers and strarted it up. it ran perfectly,for 5 min. then something clicked on over by the drivers side of the engine compartment. what it was i haven't found yet. when this comes on the car shuts down. then i have to floor the gas pedal to get it to start again, but it runs horrible. very rich and won't idle at all. now i have to wait again and start it up later tonight. then try to hear for the "click" again. what a pain......this growing very old.i don't see anything that is over there that would do that.you don't hear it in the car. only when you are outside. you can feel it when your inside. the change in the car is what i meant.by the time i get done i could buy a new mustang. we'er talking 2011. with all ofg the new parts that i'm putting in.</p></blockquote><p></p>
