Message: <blockquote data-quote="ttocs" data-source="post: 1015885" data-attributes="member: 11896">I had to laugh about the f'up on my part with the wire as now at the age of 36 I have been messing with wires for over half my life as a tech in a couple of different jobs.  But on the other hand it was the first time I had done it and even after explaining that to the guy at summit, he didn't know any different either.   I can only assume he has never done it either, guess not too many have really.  As far as cables goes it was easier then other types I have done(rca, and stereo wiring mainly) as there really isn't anything to remember or forget.  Cut it, strip it, crimp and cap it.  My only complaint with the accel stripper I got was that it only cut half of the insulation to strip it and I would have to use a blade to cut the other half.  Seems like it should not be too hard to cut  both halfs and then just pull it off but the crimping was nice and tight with the ratcheting action of the handle.  With the other dies it came with I will probably end up using it more then my klein-style for crimps now.ese.  I heard you grumbling in my head as I installed the isolators but you had been grumbling so long I think my brian is now producing a chemical to block your voice.  Right now they kinda stick out but after I put the intake on it(polished er not) I think it will all look killer.</blockquote>
