You could do a tune and get a couple more horses out of it, but most people drive them about 50-100 miles or so and the computer self adjusts to the bump in compression.

I've been driving mine for 3 years without a tune. Only run 93 octane though.

When I swapped the 04 motor into my car it felt a little sluggish, not much quicker than the NPI motor. i got myself a handheld for cheap, reflashed it and it was a night and day difference, now its alot quicker than the old motor, feels like a monster compared to what it was.

Yeah I heard of a similar story with the entire motor swap but I hope I can tell the difference with just the head cams and intake swap. The whole reason im doing this is because my valve seals are worn and I figured while I have the heads off might as well swap them out.

Who puts F/I on their car doesn't tune it? Your friend was asking for it.

I would get it tuned just to be on the safe side. Better safe than sorry.

Haha well we told him him to stop driving it and tune it but he wouldn't listen so I agree. But everyone says it adjusts. I was actually reading up on the npi heads and I'm thinking the p.i. Might just be on there for a year or two while I build up the npi and a motor lol
