lose interest in your car? i havent been able to drive it in over a month.. it will be down for at least another one.. ugh this is driving me crazy!! :BangHead:

i caught myself shopping for new cars last night and that didnt help one bit.. i just walk out everyday and see this beautiful hint of bright atlantic blue at the bottom of the car cover.. i think im going to take some parts off to get powder coated for the new motor maybe then it will ignite the mod spark again..

I was kinda hoping a tornado would blow my car away, so yes. I was having all kinds of trouble with it when it was @ the body shop!! I knew I'd lose some through my insurance, but I was totally going to take that raping!! You say you weren't able to drive it a month. How about 7 months & 15 days? I was very upset with my car!!

yea ive gone through that. just a few weeks ago i was hell-bent on saving up and buying a new camaro but i dont want to wait 3-5 years for that. i just decided to save up and put a forged motor with a kenne bell on top in my gt. i figured that ive already started modding this car why not finish.

I go through a few weeks of not even looking at my car every year. Maybe because i've owned it since new and have a love/hate relationship. Several times i wanted something new but every time the new mustang came out 99/05/10 i couldn't bring myself to get rid of the one i have.

i dont like my car i guess thats y i do stuff to it in hopes that i will fall in love w. it, but it hasnt happened yet and its discouraging, i want a new car bad

Every once in a while I think i might like a new car but then I do a mod or two and fall in-love with it again, gets better each time. I've had it goin on 7 years and I still love it, but still sometimes wonder about another car. All the cars I'd want instead of mine are just out of my price range, so that plus what I have invested into my car it doesn't make sense to get something new.

yup i have so i sold it a few weeks ago lol. going to pick up a 99 cobra to get my interest back.

my car sat for weeks and months quite a bit but mainly due to the winter. after the clutch went out it sat for 4 or 5 months and i got the new one in and fixed a few other things and i just lost interest. a lot of other little things needed fixed and i already had put a lot of $$ into it as is so i said screw it and sold it. next car will only need minor tweeking here n there so ill save up what would be mod money for my next car and in 3 years or so ill get a terminator, mach 1 or s197 and mod it. unless i fall in love with the 99

I used to think I wanted another car, but the more I drove other cars, the more I liked my Mustang. of course, I already have the built motor and suspension, but there is always something else to do. I have always had a pos as a daily driver, and its been a 1988 Cherokee with 200K (just rolled 200 today) on the odo. I cant imagine a slower car on the street, or anything less enjoyable to drive.

maybe i can finish my interior while its down.. i need to rebuild the bottom part of my seat delete and put a bottle bracket in.. i still need my black carpet and hunsaker seats also.. or maybe some new wheels.. maybe if i go internet window shopping it will help with my interest.. because right now im about to sell my shell

I lose interest in it once or twice a year... It usually only lasts a few days. Not really sure what snaps me out of it as I haven't done any serious modding in a few years.
