The value drops hard and fast where the Lexus will retain most of its value the first 2 years it is used. I'm all for buying American but the biggest problem with American car companies is the Unions who force them to pay insane wages to barely skilled workers driving the cost of American cars up to the same cost of a better made/equipped import. An entire industry overhaul is what's needed to restore the good name of American Automotive Manufacturing. As of now GM and Ford may be bigger and outsell Toyota but as long as Toyota continues to produce quality products that hold value it will chip away at the sales of the now Big 2...From the projected figures i've seen Toyota will be #2 atleast in 10 years as they continually build their sales network and plants in the USA and Mexico.</blockquote>
