so was messin around with my friend brian and his 03 cobra
of course i have no chance in he** of keeping up but its still fun
so were going through some tighter/technical turns and crap and i nail it, the car shifts
into 1st and all the sudden-like i hear a loud a** pop and then like a weed-eater is hitting my hood...
luckily were next to his house and we pop the hood...my serpintine belt is in like 20 pieces lol
i had frayed it then wraped a good 2ft thread of it around the idler pulley :wall:
so thats what ive been up t today....
the chick that was in the car with me has a video and its funny as hell ill try to get it posted up..
ans some pics of my hodds underside lol! it looks like someone went at it with a machete

yeah right, all you need to worry about is being more aerodynamic than him, slap one of those low body kits on there, aerodynamics are much better than performance. but if you do want performance, I was thinking some rims.

maybe something like this, of course you'd have to upgrade to a 4lug to save weight, but i don't think they're big enough either

that really sucks.. i was on my way to pick up some graphics from my print shop and about halfway there it sounded like I ran through a pile of pebbles or someone dumped a box of bb's under my car. was doing about 60. by the time I got there I was getting out of my car and had noticed the a/c stopped working and I smelled rubber, I popped the hood and that frisbee that ford called a stationary idler pulley cracked and the bearing went out so it melted with the friction of the belt and split my belt into about 4 pieces and wrapped 2-3 foot around my a/c compressor, 2-3 foot around my alternator and about a foot round my crank and had little pieces of rubber and plastic all over my engine compartment. I was pissed haha.. quick 30 minute fix though so not too bad. I feel your pain lol :knuppel2:

lol even though my fluid is fine...

my low coolant light was always on too, til i pulled the overflow tank cap, with sending unit
(1 foot long rubber hose with sending unit on end) and it was convered in brown crap.
washed and scrubbed it... now no more light!

yeah...my air condition blows colder than an 03/04 cobra...anyday..
