In fact you're safer if you don't!When the time comes that you do change LCAs though it looks like you have siezed LCA bolts. These are pretty common. I've fought with those a few times and have used a cutting wheel (4.5" disc works best -thank the Lord for Harbor Freight!) to cut the bolts out. DO NOT buy replacement bolts from Ford stealership, THEY WILL RAPE YOU. Like $40 for their LCA bolt kit. I bought 2 zinc coated bolts (should help to keep me from having siezed up bolts again in future) grade8 -same as factory- bolts from my local hardware store w/ locking nuts and washers for $8.
