I have no problem getting my hands dirty and then washing them when I am done. I do have a problem with them following me around town all day/night but I guess some prefer that smell over nothing? I would compare it to the perfume whores that 20 secs after they walk by your eyes are still watering and they were nothing amazing to look at. When that happens I can't help but want to tell them that a woman's scent should be discovered, not announced.

OP asked about the EGR tube which has nothing to do with smell and everything to do with making the engine run better & last longer. Given the medical outcomes from long term carbon monoxide exposure we should all take exhaust leaks seriously for ourselves and for our families.

I didn't come here to get in a crankshaft measuring contest, when I was 16 I was giving my dad enemas because he developed dementia from occupational exposure to carbon monoxide and he would forget to use the bathroom on his own. This is what you're beating your chest about?
