Exhaust question?

Hey guys i just got done putting my o/r h pipe in and it sounds awsome!, but i ran into a little trouble. One of the bolts got stuck up near the headers so i had to take it to a mechanic that i know so he could get it off and while i was driving there one of my oxygen sensors was left hangin down and it came off but i still have three left so would i have to buy another one or does it really matter? Because if it doesn't i'm thinkin bout welding the hole up to seal my exhaust. Also my check engine light came on so i'm guessing i'll need to buy mil eliminators, so where's the best deal on them and how do you hook em up?

If it's a fron, you need it, if it's a rear, you don't. For MIL eliminators, I would check forum classifieds, since when you get a tuner you don't need them.

Well you could, but it makes for a convenient place to put the MIL and wire harness.

We usually do have MIL eliminators for sale, eveyone is getting Xcals, lol.

If you don't find any MIL's in our classifieds, I know you can pick them up for around $60. I got my BBK set from www.brothersperformance.com

how do u install the mil eliminators?

Just like an O2, thread in then clip on the harness. Use Anti-seize

They go in between the actually o2 sensor and the harness that the o2 plugs into. If you have any more questions let us know.

I got mine from UPR when i got my O/R X and they work great, does anyone know if you can get away with emissions with them in,
if they dont use the sniffer on your car? Emissions next month and have been wondering if they would work.

Some guys get away with it. Some guys don't.

ha, this sounds exactly like me, about six months ago. If your missing the upstream o2 youll need to replace it, cause ur car wont hold idle without it. downstream, you can just plug up the hole i guess. Mils are a must. I hear they go bad after being around the exhaust heat for so long, so i just bought new for like 50 for the set. itll sound better too when u plug that big ass leak from the missing o2.
