ok guys, I've got a 95 gt, cooling mods are: Mishumoto Rad., brand new FoMoCo Water pump, 160* thermo. (a little low, i know), New upper and lower hoses. I also installed a Autometer electric style coolant temp gauge in the stock sending unit location, and moved the factory 1 wire sending unit to the LR spot in the Intake manifold. When driving around, on a cooler day (70 degrees), my car would stay around 185*, then coming to a stoplight, it would start to warm up slightly, longer stoplights occasionally get up to 205* area. So later at work i decided to let my car idle and see if the fan kicks on. It idled fine, warmed up, then got up to about 195* (factory setting) and the LO speed fan kicked on.. That cooled it off slightly, (190*) but i never saw the high speed setting come on. Then i decided to unplug my fan switch (right behind the Thermostat housing, on the heater rail) and within a couple of sec. my High speed fan kicked on, so i know that it works, it just wont work under normal operation. Any ideas? (BTW this was all done with A/c off.)
