ok guys, I've got a 95 gt, cooling mods are: Mishumoto Rad., brand new FoMoCo Water pump, 160* thermo. (a little low, i know),
New upper and lower hoses. I also installed a Autometer electric style coolant temp gauge in the stock sending unit location, and moved the
factory 1 wire sending unit to the LR spot in the Intake manifold.
When driving around, on a cooler day (70 degrees), my car would stay around 185*, then coming to a stoplight, it would start
to warm up slightly, longer stoplights occasionally get up to 205* area. So later at work i decided to let my car idle and see if the fan kicks on.
It idled fine, warmed up, then got up to about 195* (factory setting) and the LO speed fan kicked on.. That cooled it off slightly, (190*)
but i never saw the high speed setting come on. Then i decided to unplug my fan switch (right behind the Thermostat housing, on the
heater rail) and within a couple of sec. my High speed fan kicked on, so i know that it works, it just wont work under normal operation.
Any ideas? (BTW this was all done with A/c off.)

I don't thing the hi speed comes on till @ 200. try sliping a piece of cardboard in front of the rad so low speed can't pull any air through.

well like i said it won't come on at all, and it will go all the way up to the 200-210 range occasionally. This sucks because it's only
gotten up to 70 degrees, and i'm already having overheating problems.

mine runs at 210, stock thermostat...That thermostat could be causing your problems right there, I know you know, but I think you just want somebody to verify it...good luck
