Heres our afternoon runs.

o3 Mach 1-14

03cobra-51

98 gt-9

It was a close battle between us.

I must note that the only vette or other car that beat us was the race ready vette.

He only beat us by 1 second.

For any one who hasnt autoXed.

Its a blast..

I'm running Nitto NT01's. friggin awsome tires. Improves you time by 2 seconds compared to regular street tires..

Yeah these are my dedicated Autox setup wheels and tires.

I've autoXed with Sumo's before and it is fun. You tend to use alot of rear steer though from past experiences..

Dont let that keep you from going. Its better to start with street tires and then go from there..

Oh, don't worry about that lol. Already ran an AutoX with em. It WAS fun using the power oversteer, but that's not fast and fast is what i'm looking for haha. Hopefully I can get my hands on some NT01's and 17x9's.

Good runs bro... I love the Auto X I plan to hit some here in Jerzee this season. I have a friend with sick Solstice and that thing is a beast on the auto-x courses. GXP model with a boat load of work... Anyway love the camera placement up front!

Finally watched the video, if that had been with us, that would have been a DNF for that guy having his arm out the window. It's happened to me a couple of times to where I make my dad sit on his hands now lol. Good run though.

Re: FCRC autoX vid. 4/16/11

yes with the scca group it would of been a DNF.. We where running with the corvette club this day. They are pretty laid back. We usually get a boat load of runs and a great time. I think we average 12 to 15 runs or more with them. We are pretty lucky around here cause there are many groups that hold an autox at this location. Theres the BMW club, corvette club, fast club, scca, porshe club, and I think 1 or 2 more. So we get to choose who we want to go with...The corvette club is one of the fun ones to go to. We usually reach around 80 or 90 as top speeds with them.

I should have some go pro vids up later today..

Yeah those MM coil overs should work out great for you. Those are on my list, but I am getting all the proper stiffening

parts before i go co's. My current setup is Eibach sportlines, tokico blues, MM uppers and lowers, Mac tubular weld in

sub frames, Eibach sway bars f & r, Cobra brake upgrade with Hawk cer. pads and powerslot rotors..My next piece is

going to be a MM panhard bar to stop my rear from going side to side. I'm going to post my go pros and you can see the

sway back and forth.. Both of the guys i run with have IRS in there cars and co's and a bunch of other stuff..My setup

works really well, but theres always room for improvement. Seat time is what really matters though..

Re: FCRC autoX vid. 4/16/11

yeah....i'm just gonna knock out the coilovers first. i've been talking to the guys at maximum about what all i need to do to throw some 17x9.5 rpf1's on it with hoosier race slicks. need some pretty big wheels spacers that they said they would custom make for me to get the wheels to fit just right. my car has a few bugs to work out but i can't wait to get these parts on it and take it out. i believe the coilover kit they sell for our cars comes with a panhard bar.....food for thought....if you have the money saved up.....go for it all now.....mind as well seeing as your getting the panhard bar either way.

Re: FCRC autoX vid. 4/16/11

all together for my car it should be a $1600 kit. not too expensive....then you can always ask them to change out certain struts etc for it. They offer Koni, tokico(front only), bilstein and their own MM struts that work with it. It comes with the panhard bar, cc plates and hypercoil springs in your choice of rates. good deal to be honest. I'm not passing it up...the expensive thing will be those rpf1's i'm interested in and the slicks.
