Well, I have decided to keep the 96GT the way it is, motor wise. I'm just gonna toss the rims and other bolt-on's I got and make it my weekend cruiser.

I have decided to use my settlement money to pay off my house and then maybe this summer I will get me a GT500 or ZO6 ??

I am going to start a build thread on the 96, and we will see where it goes from here?

How would you even have to think about getting a GT500 or Z06...? Z06's are flat out insane. They're a wayyyy better car.

Yeah, I had an accident while I was driving my semi tractor. I got hit by a drunk driver and he was the head of the town council in a suburb of Chicago, so needless to say, he settled out of court as not to have to go to trial :xmassign:

Yes, I have a 96GT, and a 99GT as well at the moment. I will trade in the 99 when I decide what car I want, but that will be this summer.

The ZO6 is nice, but I have 2 buddies with them already, and honestley, I like A/T cars, espically LS1/2/3 crs cause the 4L60E transmissions are one bad mo-fo if doner right.

I read a few articles that the new 2008 Vette (not zo6) comes with 435hp, and if you get the Z51 package, it is only .3 seconds slower in the 1/4, plus if I build the trans, and add a Magnacharger, I'm still under the $75K+ price tag of the ZO6 w/700+ HP no problem. I think this is the way I will go, but god I love the GT500 as well...... it's not as fast, or anything, but I think it looks SO damn sexy!!! I just wish that not every spoiled brat around here had one

i would keep your options open until next summer when you are ready to buy a new car. by then, there will probably be
another badass car to go testdrive, but if you had to get a new car...... GT500 + KB+Longtubes= 750rwhp.... can't go
wrong with that, and you would be way less than the 75K for a 6.2 Zo6.
