I have one in the trunk that I need to mount back there so it will quit rolling around, I am scared that it is going to hit the valve and let go in the trunk.

Those 2.5lbs extinguishers everyone carries around are worthless, 90% of them are'NT refilable and are not big enough to put out a fire.

Youll need atleast a 10lbs ABC.

agreed. the only thing those 2.5lbs are good for is show. if a fire actually started, that thing will equate to your lung capacity to just blow it out.

I like the look of something like this. I've fought a few fires in my life and It's not fun, I think opening the hood with a fire going is probably not that easy or smart.

you dont want to be directly in front of, or behind a vehicle on fire. the prop rods for the hood and trunk (I know our sn95s didnt have prop rods on the hood, but still) become projectiles when they are exposed to extreme heat!

I have a halon extinguisher sittin in my back floor board. nice thing about working where i work, i have access to them as i dont think you can buy them anymore. as people replace their halon extinguishers with other stuff i can pick them up.

i like the linked suppression system

could i put one on the interior of the car and one piped to the engine bay? also can you get bigger bottles? 5lbs seems a little small. seems like a really worthwhile investment.
