ive heard this before as well... takes 30-60 days for clear coat to properly cure, or something?? lol.

That is true, usually the rule of thumb is 45 days so your spot on and it is so the clear coat and ''breathe'' and properly cure, they put enough glaze on the finish when the buff it that you'll be fine if you wait a month or two to wax it my old man always says ''haste makes waste''
