I have seen a couple of ads in various Mustang Mags lately for the Floo Tek GT40X heads and was wondering if anyone on here is running them in their car? Just wanted to know what the quality is like and if they are just clones of FRPP GT40X aluminum heads or if they had any benefits...All I know so far is the price seems great at $798.00 and on E-bay Tri State Cylinder head seems to get rave reviews...I want a decent, reasonably priced set of heads for my H/C/I swap. I will be running a Steeda #19 cam and 95 Cobra intake.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

chinese castings are almost always horrible.

Usually anything cast in China has serious flaws in the outcome of the product. I would take what a magazine says with half a grain of salt.

Most heads that are cast in China are not deburred very well and you can see heavy machining marks on most of the surfaces.

There have been chinese castings that are not in line with the valve job leaving large sharp steps on the seat ring.

To get the head to be decent enough to be a good working head, you might as well buy an Edelbrock/TFS/AFR head.

You get what you pay for in Cylinder Heads.
