Car has been sitting for a while, aligned it a while back just so I could put some miles on it. Still have a small leak from the rear main housing, going to pull the trans and put a factory piece in instead of the junk MMR piece. Car is currently tuned up to about 7000 RPM and pulls very hard around 4500-5000. Started pulling the interior apart to try and drop as much weight as possible to actually compete in CP here soon. Removed airbags, ducting, carpet, sound deadening, interior panels except dash. Made a pretty cool piece over the weekend. Been looking into making some carbon fiber parts, partly to start selling some custom parts, but also to lighten up my car. Got all the materials and started looking into what I could make. I started looking at parts to make and I decided the first thing would be the bracket that holds the Fuel Pump Driver Module to the body of the car. The bracket is pretty small and probably only weighs about a pound or so, but I figured this would be a good place to start. It's a pretty simple design with no really difficult looking areas and the bracket didn't have to carry much weight. Here's the results! Took me about 10 hours total. The drying of the part took a good 5 hours or so. Ready to take on my next part! Let me know if anyone needs anything made. Sticking to small pieces for now, but one day hoping to make some larger pieces! Old piece weighs about a pound, new piece weighs a few ounces.</span></span></p><p><span style="color: #E7E7E7"><span style="font-family: 'verdana'"></span></span></p><p><span style="color: #E7E7E7"><span style="font-family: 'verdana'"></span></span><a href="http://s773.photobucket.com/user/mustangchris01/media/image_zps2c5b2008.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i773.photobucket.com/albums/yy16/mustangchris01/image_zps2c5b2008.jpg" alt="" class="fr-fic fr-dii fr-draggable " style="" /></a></p><p></p><p><a href="http://s773.photobucket.com/user/mustangchris01/media/image_zpsdc638121.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i773.photobucket.com/albums/yy16/mustangchris01/image_zpsdc638121.jpg" alt="" class="fr-fic fr-dii fr-draggable " style="" /></a></p><p></p><p><a href="http://s773.photobucket.com/user/mustangchris01/media/image_zpsa22e0e35.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i773.photobucket.com/albums/yy16/mustangchris01/image_zpsa22e0e35.jpg" alt="" class="fr-fic fr-dii fr-draggable " style="" /></a></p><p></p><p><a href="http://s773.photobucket.com/user/mustangchris01/media/image_zpsff6ad2c4.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i773.photobucket.com/albums/yy16/mustangchris01/image_zpsff6ad2c4.jpg" alt="" class="fr-fic fr-dii fr-draggable " style="" /></a></p><p></p><p><a href="http://s773.photobucket.com/user/mustangchris01/media/image_zps5660467b.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i773.photobucket.com/albums/yy16/mustangchris01/image_zps5660467b.jpg" alt="" class="fr-fic fr-dii fr-draggable " style="" /></a></p></blockquote><p></p>
