Hey everyone, so I'm brand new to the forum and I thought I'd post a little about myself and my build. I'm 20 years old and working as a tech at a small mustang shop in Broomfield, Co. I've got a 2001 Mineral Grey Mustang GT that I'm currently building. I'm building the car for road racing and I'm hoping to register for some NASA events this coming summer. The current mods to the car are full maximum motorsports road race suspension, mild engine work and bolt ons, kooks lt headers, torsen rear differential with 3.73's, and some visual mods. I've got cobra brakes all around at the moment, but I'm going to get a set of the Griggs 4on4 brakes soon. I recently ordered a Mod 900 shortblock that should be here sometime this week, and I will be throwing a set of Trickflow 2v ported heads, CMS blower cams, and a Kenne bell 2.6H, with a TKO600 transmission. My goals for the car will be around 550-600 RWHP uncorrected at 6k feet above sea level. As for the interior, I've got a 6 point roll bar, kirkey road race seats and a rear seat delete and I'm working on modifying my dash a bit. Thanks for checking out my build and let me know what you think!

looking good man, definitely got some serious plans with power in the future. Be sure to forge your motor and have adequate fuel to support that

The car looks awesome. Do you have any in the sunlight too? I bet it looks pretty good there as well!

Thanks everyone! I'll get out today and get some pics in the sunlight since its nice out! As for the engine, it's a 4.75L with Manley internals, -18 cc dished pistons, and the pistons are coated with MMR's Redfire coating for E85. I will be using a return style fuel system.

decided i didnt need a radio so i figured i would shed a few extra pounds and make a radio delete for my car, the project took about 2 hours with all of the filing down to get it to the right size, let me know if anyones interested in buying one of these, its real carbon fiber, let me know what you think!

Good god that thing is sick! Nice car bro, very clean. I've always loved Mineral Grey, definitely one of my favorite colors. Can't wait to see the progress on this thing in the coming weeks!

Gray New Edge FTW. Doesnt matter if Mineral or Dark Shadow, it's the best color for 99-04 hands-down. The 01 Cobra bumper is perfect, makes the car look damn mean. Writhing in jealousy here...
