So, I've been on an aggressive hunt to find a roller because i'm tired of seeing my wrecked convertible just sitting in the garage. I've found a white 85 Notch that i'm pretty sure i'm going to pick up. I've been doing lots of researching and deciding on the little things that I can do with the swap, but one thing i can't decide on is what dash to put in the car. So what's everyone else's opinion, which looks better in an Fox?

I took the images off a guy's build thread on Southerfoxbodies, hopefully he doesnt mind.

My only beef with fox's is the dash. Just feels kinda outdated. But a sn dash in a fox gives a bit of a wow factor but requires lots of work. I say go for it.. Good luck!

Id leave the dash, the round body of the sn95 dash doesnt flow with the straight lines of the fox and it looks bulky.

After being up til like 5am researching, i've kinda come to the conclusion that i'm probably just going to stick with a Fox dash. The work to put in a SN95 Dash and Steering wheel is some serious work. To put the steering column in you have to cut out a section of the firewall and splice in a section from an SN95. That is just too time consuming. Plus, I think i'll get a 87-93 interior setup, and switch to power windows/locks. Maybe i can find some 05+ seats so i can just have a huge clusterfuck of parts from all modern mustangs in the car. :laughing5:

I personally like the fox dash.. so good decision. Feels like a plane or something with the toggle switch/buttons lol. Sounds like a pain to drop in the snive dash anyways.

I like the 87+ dashes. I like the 85-86 front ends. Win-win

i doubt its worth the work but the SN95 dash looks worlds better in my opinion. I also think if you want a fox then deal with the fox styling, swapping seats is a good idea though.

Sn95 dash looks better but i like the gauge options on a fox better , guess it depends on what you want to do with the car. Race=Fox , Show n go= Sn95 if you dont mind the work , strictly show= defentlly Sn95 as there more things you can do with it. Good luck with what ever you do , im jealous btw. I LOVE the looks of a clean notch. Always wanted one , never had the luck to get my hands on one. I actually just let a 5spd t-top notch roller slip through my fingers 2 weeks ago bc i didnt more fast enough.

I would do some dirty things do get a t-top notch.

Whenever i do find a roller, ill be sure to make a build thread.. A notch + 01 Cobra engine + T56 + built IRS + saleen speedlines = a sweet daily driver i'm hoping. Just missing the notch out of the equation.
