I am installing a new rack, hoses, and power steering pump. The rack is leaking and pump is squealing. I bought the car from a guy who used to race at Rockingham and Darlington quite a bit. He had a guy from Holcombe Motorsports build the new engine. The engine has 2000 miles on it and the car has 60,000 miles on it. Due to the economy he had to sell some of his toys and so I bought the car.The front end of the car is quite high. Instead of lowering it, it seems like it has been raised. The guy that I bought it from said that he did not raise it, but the other guy that he used to race with might have, for some reason.Questions: Is there any reason why someone would raise the front end?
