Fuel injectors!!

I'm in need of new injectors, looks like mine are leaking and causing a misfire at idle. Does anyone have any experience with these? I tried buyfordracing but they don't have the stock 19lb.

Don't remember, I'd have to look.

As for installation - very straightforward. Pull the upper intake, GENTLY pry the injectors/rails out of the lower. Put a little dab of lube on the new injector o-rings (a small blob of vaseline works like a champ) and push them in, then reinstall the upper and whatnot.

is there a way to test them other than unplugging each harnes and watch for a stumble?

The motor won't miss a beat if you unplug one. You won't even be able to tell.

you can send injectors out to be flowed... costs ~100 bucks

how / why do you think it is leaking? is the injector firing? do you have access to a oscilloscope?

FWIW Road Zombie, injector failures are pretty rare. In all my years doing this, I've never seen one and only heard of a tiny handful.

Damn! I just bough a set of ford racing denso 19lb injectors. I checked for vaccum leaks, checked the plug wires, changed the plugs, cleaned the maf, new iac and tps. My last guess was the injectors. Car didn't pass smog cause it wa running rich. I suspected injectors too because my cats are dead! They smell like rotten egg, when I give it some gas and sometimes while normal driving. Failed within 6 months of buying them. It runs rich, I can smell the gas just at idle. Will a bad maf cause a misfire at idle too? What other things also make the car have small misfires when idling?
