Hello.

I would need to pick your brains regarding replacing of the OEM fuel pump. As the car is almost 30 years old I woul dlike to replace the fuel pump to reduce possible problems on the road as precautionary job.

Car is stock and wil remain stock so I don't need a HiPo pump but an OEM comparable will do. Rockauto seems most convenient for me as the shipping is a breeze.

If I look at the daily driver classified products the Carter P74151HP would contain everything I need at once - although it seems to be hi-vol pump.

Then there is the Delphi pump & housing assembly HP10145, which is quite affordable.

I have no idea of what Carter or Delphi quality is nowadays.

Any comments or ideas regarding stock replacement with these or something else?

Thanks for the link.

I read somewhere that 1994-95 OEM fuel pump flow rate has been 110 lph. Is that correct?

Going with a higher rate pump has no down side and will leave room for growth down the road.

I wouldn't hesitate to use a Carter fuel pump, they sure made great mechanical pumps way back in the day.

Don't forget to get a new lock-ring, just incase. And a BRASS punch.

As others advised, if staying mostly stock/bolt-ons, I'd go to at least a 190lph pump.
