I'm building a 10sec. DD, and need to know what my options are to upgrade the fuel system, as far as line size, etc.? It's on a '96 GT, w/ '99 GT motor. Thanks

My car is a 10 second DD...my fuel system mods are injectors and pump. I'd like to know how you plan to make a DD out of a 99 GT motor though...

I think the estimated hp, combination, and boost pressure (if applicable) are a little more relevant than the predicted ET when determining fuel system requirements. Please elaborate.

Well I'm still in the planning stages, but I'm thinkin', forged bottom end, cams, and heads, top off with a 2.6 KB. Probably in the 650rwhp range. Not sure if that'll get me 10secs. or not, but that's about what I'm lookin' at, and was wondering what's required for fuel. I've read about Cobra tanks w/ dual gt40 pumps. Also Focus pumps, etc.. And I've seen 2v 4.6 in full street trim break into 9.99, and then driven home, so that's pretty much how I plan on doing it with a '99 motor. Just not sure what all I need to do to get there yet.

Do you have $15,000 in the bank right now? Can you do all the work yourself?

I know what the cost is. I was just asking about fuel system upgrades, because I have the drivetrain ripped out at the moment. And am working on the undercarriage, suspension, trans, and rear. No I won't be building the motor, MPH is hopefully early next year. I just seen the brake and fuel lines were all rusted, and need to be replaced, and didn't want to replace the fuel lines with stock spec lines if they were going to have to change them anyway. I also thought, seeing that I'm dropping the tank I could just take care of the upgrades myself. So I called MPH and talked to them, Tim told me to leave the fuel system alone, because they have to re-do the entire system anyway, to handle the power. I know he has his special way of doing things, so I'll just let him take care of it. Thanks anyway :)

Youll hit 10s. I went 11.60 with my little p1sc with stk 04 heads/intake And Mph cams. I just upgraded my p1 to the D1sc and going for 10s next season. My fuel system is

255 Hi flow/Hi Pressure. Intank
255 MMR Inline Pump
60lb injectors.

I hear the best is to do a Twin 255 pumps in tank and a 255 inline Will be good to 700+wrhp
