Hahaha... Gotcha .....

I can understand if some want to keep secrets of setups...

I would like to see what are different types of serpentine pulley setups out there for the 5liter. Is any of the pulleys for the cobra smaller then GT..
Im not a guy to use underdrive because of its not good for the streets but would like to see the different ways to run pulleys..
Also is there any stock style crank pulley for the sn 5liter setup that is better then factory as I seem to found or bent them alot..
If there is enough setups might be good to make it a sticky...

I think the crank is under driven a bit too. I know at least on the Kenne Bell boost chart, 94-95 Cobras will make less boost on the same size pulley as a GT.

That's because the GT40 heads flow a lot better than the shitty E7 heads. Less restriction = less lb

As far as quality upgrade, you can invest in a Wazee Pulley for your idler pulley, much better than that stock plastic shit Ford used.

I bought all new pulleys from wazees and i love them, great quality... But pricey, I think I have about 500, just in pulleys

most of the people(myself included) that I know that put under drive pullies on eventually swapped back to get rid of the low voltage problems and burning up alternators.

Ive never had a problem with under driven pullies. My front accessory setup on my fox is over kill but it's also gorgeous

I am going to disagree. I run GT40 heads and my car makes the advertised boost levels. Also the KB boost chart I have shows the Cobra having a smaller crank pulley.

Here's the poop. The KB comes with a 5" underdrive crank pulley for the standard intake. That will give about 5-6 psi with the OEM heads. The OEM crank pulley is 6.5" and the OEM Cobra is 5.85". So when I did the engine build with Edlebrock Performer heads the boost fell to 4 psi (better flowing heads). I changed the crank pulley to the 5.85" pulley and I now see 8 psi of boost. This is without changing the KB snout pulley which IIRC is 3 1/8" on the standard kit.

do u know what the factory part numbers are for the cobra crank pulley.. so when looking for one I know what im looking at..
is the cobra water pulley smaller too.. Is the stock pully setup the best way to maximize the power with out using underdrive as I dont want to slow the water pulley because I want to maximize my cooling.
