Well my t45 started slipping out of gear about a week and a half ago. At first it wasn't very bad, so I hoped my clutch cable just needed adjustment, so I ordered a firewall adjuster and put that in, to no avail. After consulting with a few trusted mechanics I believe that my syncros are to blame, so I spent a few days deciding my options. I have decided to have my t45 rebuilt by the t45 source, a company out of Ohio. I called and talked to the owner Zak, we discussed my driving style and needs and we decided on his Street level rebuild. I kind of wanted the Street/Track level, but he said that is really more for powershifting at 7k rpms, which I don't have any need to do with my setup. Anyways this weekend I'm rounding up a few buddies and we are gonna pull the trans and ship it off to be rebuilt, the turnaround should be about 3 weeks. Here is what is included with the Street rebuild: The Slammer Billet 3-4 Shift Fork, SureShift 3-4 Shift Plate, Carbon Fiber Lined Synchronizers, New Bearings, Billet Steel Synchro Inserts, New Shift Fork Pads, New Syncrhonizer Springs . Anyways I had the car up for sale, but now I'm just gonna keep it. I've spent so much money fixing it at this point I just cant afford to sell it. Hopefully after this I will have gotten all the repairs done for a long time. I am pretty excited to have a awesome trans after I get this all behind me. Hopefully the trans removal will go smoothly! Sorry for the lengthy post
