Got an Idea..

I've been thinking about tryin to hook my tag lights up to a toggle switch..I asume this will be real easy to do. Any one ever done this?

Yeah, but you're better off leaving it alone...

You may be able to get away from a cop, but you cant outrun a radio...

Only thing you will get out of it is a ticket...

No Plans of runin from cops. I just play around alot. Just want it so other cars (not cops) can't call my plates in. Some punks in my county walk at night for some reason..And just tryin to keep my tag number away from them..

Yeah, just deny it... cops can't do anything on the word of other people...

But all you have to do is direct the current to the front of the car to a switch, and run another cable back...

..Cops around here sure act like they can. But i guess if i deny it they cant prove it...Thanks for the help even if it was simple.

Yeah... they need to prove you did something wrong to charge you...

Thats like if I said I saw you kill someone... well, they would need to prove that to be true... Can't just lock yer ass up... lol...

i have to disagree with you. a friend of mine was driving recklessly and he got called in by a couple people. a police officer
showed up at his house and gave him a reckless driving ticket. i asked how could that be legal, he didnt see anything?
he said because the people that called it in will gladly testify against him. but if thats the case i am about to go and complain
about ricers around here for disturbing the peace. :dunno:

multiple people is different then a single person...

Police need several (not sure how many) complaints and all the witnesses need to have the same stories...
