Im only going built motor when this one lets go...so eventually it will happen im thinking. lol

onyx, best I could get it to dyno was 384 rwhp but it never wants to keep the converter locked on the dyno so that was at like 5400 rpms. Ive seen the same setup on a manual car dyno 431 rwhp just to get an idea of what it makes in terms of a manual car.

The car doesnt make crazy amounts of power, just a good setup, nice trans with a big stall wrapped in a somewhat light weight car (3100 lbs)

Ill try to get an underhood pic but its just a diryt ass 4.6 with a vortech on it.

A lot of small things add up to a lot I guess. Biggest was the aluminum block motor at like 75 lbs. Drag wheels dropped like 50. Small things like no cats, PBR brakes, no back seat, and my car is a 248a no power ABS all cloth interior, no spoiler

Im not sure what the 248a cars are supposed to weight stock but I thought they were omnly 3250-3300.

I honestly havent tried too hard to drop weight...I could easily shave a bunch more off the car if I had any motivation too.

and yea mike, autos dont usually do well on a dyno...its ok, Its pretty common for me to beat up on cars with 100-200-even 300 more rwhp than me. lol

Raced a 700 rwhp supra that was scared to go from a dig and he couldnt shake me to about 100 mph. If we went from a dig I know I would have ran out of gear before he caught me.
