Got my cobra bumper with ABC Lip

Overall the bumper looks good I guess...Never ordered a aftermarket bumper before...dont know what to expect.

this little flap was bent a little and I had to use a hair dryer to bend it back into shape...but this is probably common with a plastic bumper.

No problem there.

The finish was pretty rough so I wet sanded the whole bumper with some 400 grit sand paper and it came out pretty good.

Everything is looking good.

Hopefull I dont get raped by this body shop to install this.

Your car is going to look really good with a cobra bumper. Can't you just get it painted and then put it on yourself?

I dont know....

some lady ran into my car so Im getting a new fender,badge,front bumper, headlights,headlight mounting bracket, the foam thing in the bumper, that metal piece, part of my hood fixed and painted.

they are fixing a lot of stuff and painting the front of my car and its all covered by insurance but if the bumper doesnt fit and they run into issues theyre gonna charge me he said.

Im gonna ask him...if he thinks its gonna be a lot to fit the front bumper than I might tell him to just paint it and let me put it on.

Where did you get your Cobra bumper from? I've been tryin' to find them and all I can find are these ugly looking Cobra R body kits that look like they came off of a Civic.

I would love to find a cobra owner who would swap front/rear bumpers (and sideskirts?) with me. That would be the best.
