While you're driving, the airflow across the engine from wind is cooling the radiator, but while stopped - you're in trouble. One way to bypass this for the time being is to "jump" the A/C switch so the car thinks the A/C is always on, which should turn your fan on.Bottom line, you need to reinstall the ECT sensor and associated wiring, and relocate your Autometer sending unit to an unused location on your intake manifold, or other spot like your t-stat or block.Paul.</blockquote>
