And it's after the throttlebody since unplugging the IAC didn't change anything. For it to be hanging at 1800 means it's a decent sized leak. I'm assuming the 5.0's have Evap stuff. You might have to check those hoses as well. FWIW, a buddy of mine kept chasing a high idle in his 03. I kept telling him there's a leak somewhere. He changed gaskets and throttle bodies and added return springs. Finally he started poking around and found an elbow under the blower was leaking bad. He could feel it. But he couldn't hear it.
