So, I saw the new 2011 F350 today and listen to it run, the new 6.7L is REALLY quiet but man, thank god I'm not going for diesel tech, the engine bay is packed TIGHT! Anyways they told me about this exhaust fluid, I thought they were joking, they weren't. There is actually a nozzle inside the gas(diesel) door for Diesel Exhaust Fluid. It is something you have to see to believe but it works AMAZING, they don't smell like diesel at all! They run quieter than the average diesel AND don't stink like crap either. I also got word today of other things happening at Ford but sadly, I won't disclose those yet :tongue3: It has nothing to do with the Mustang though lol.

Ya, basically the same thing. Apparently it lasts as long as your average oil change does, so every 5-6000kms...

It is DEF BLUE we got some in at work awhile ago. Without it the vehicles will put themselves into a limp mode.

Relates to the Escape and Ranger, you probably know about them already, but the ranger IS going to stay in production, probably get an engine change soon and the escape is being cancelled, to be replaced by the European made Ford Kuga.

The Kuga is way better then the Escape. I think Ford is finally hearing that people want some of these Euro specific cars. Now if they would only bring the Falcon over.

That's pretty sweet. Ford is starting to own, I'm glad they're getting the Euro spec stuff over here; that Kuga looks awesome compared to the Escape. and the Ranger needs a V8!

But.. I love the smell of diesel. Dang. I'd already heard of it though, they've had all that stuff on Jalopnik.com
