i am about to change my heads to gt40s from e7s no big deal but i am planning on running a turbo kit on the car in about 6 months so i want to go ahead and put some good head gaskets down! i already got arp head bolts...i have heard some steel gaskets can lower the compression a little???

Cometic = The Best....but expensive

ROL High Temp = very good, inexpensive.

If you can afford Cometic, that is the way to go because turbos love to pop head gaskets.

They will seal great and if they do pop, they are re-usable.

If you are going to go turbo, then I would rather you use ARP Head Studs over the ARP head bolts.

Also, to add, since the Cometic Head gaskets are rather pricey....have a look into the FelPro MLS (Multi Layer Steel) head gaskets. They are considerably cheaper and do a good job of keeping things sealed.

However, I find that blowing head gaskets is a good sign/tool to know when the overall tune for the car isnt exactly what it could be, and some attention should be drawn as to why the car has blown/or is blowing head gaskets.......
